Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") governs how we treat the Personal Information that we collect and receive from you in connection with your use of the SMS Service ("Service"), which we make available to you through a third-party service provider. This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or change this Policy at any time with or without prior notice to you. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this Policy for your convenience. This Policy, and any changes, are effective as soon as posted. "Personal Information" is information that individually identifies you, such as your mobile phone number or user/screen name, as well as any Personal Information that you choose to include in messages you send through the Service.

What Personal Information is collected about you

Through the use of the Service, Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. will receive the following information from our third party service provider: your mobile phone number when you send a text message to us, the text of messages that you send to other users of the Service, any user or screen name that you select in connection with the Service, as well as any comments or feedback regarding the Service that you send to us.

How Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. uses Personal Information about you

We use Personal Information to (a) provide you with the Service, (b) process and respond to inquiries, (c) improve the Service, (d) if necessary, contact you with important announcements or messages, (e) conduct research, and (f) provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients and partners.

Disclosure of your information

Phone numbers collected with SMS consent, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for rent/marketing purposes under any circumstances.

Security

Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. takes precautions to ensure the security of your Personal Information, including ensuring that our third party service providers protect the security of your Personal Information. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts. You should note that in using the Service, your information will travel through third party infrastructures which are not under our control (such as a third party SMS delivery platform or your carrier network). We cannot protect, nor does this Policy apply to, any information that you transmit to other users. You should never transmit personal or identifying information to other users.

Opting in

A mobile user might opt-in by:

  • Entering a phone number online,
  • Sending an Mobile Originating (MO) message to Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. business lines,
  • Filling out a paper form that includes their phone number, or
  • Signing up at a point-of-sale location.

Opting out

Nuñez Legal Group, P.C.'s third-party service provider gives you the ability to opt out of the Service for any reason. You can opt out by texting “STOP” to any Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. business lines. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Service, such as announcements and administrative messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.

SMS Terms of Service

Use of the Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. text message-based services (the "Service") is subject to the following Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legal agreement (the "Agreement"). Please read them carefully.

  1. Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. will allow several different opportunities, such as a entering a phone number online, to opt-in to SMS services.
  2. You can cancel the Service at any time. Just text "STOP" to any Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. business line number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  3. We are able to deliver messages to the following mobile phone carriers. Major carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Alltel, Boost Mobile, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile. Minor carriers: Alaska Communications Systems (ACS), Appalachian Wireless (EKN), Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular One of East Central IL (ECIT), Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania, Cincinnati Bell Wireless, Cricket, Coral Wireless (Mobi PCS), COX, Cross, Element Mobile (Flat Wireless), Epic Touch (Elkhart Telephone), GCI, Golden State, Hawkeye (Chat Mobility), Hawkeye (NW Missouri), Illinois Valley Cellular, Inland Cellular, iWireless (Iowa Wireless), Keystone Wireless (Immix Wireless/PC Man), Mosaic (Consolidated or CTC Telecom), Nex-Tech Wireless, NTelos, Panhandle Communications, Pioneer, Plateau (Texas RSA 3 Ltd), Revol, RINA, Simmetry (TMP Corporation), Thumb Cellular, Union Wireless, United Wireless, Viaero Wireless, and West Central (WCC or 5 Star Wireless), most United States Phone Carries and areas in Mexico. ***Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages***
  4. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you, and Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. is not liable for the cost of any such messages. You will receive recurring messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
  5. You understand that anyone with access to your mobile phone may be able to view the messages you receive when using the Service, and you agree that Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. will not be liable to you if this occurs.
  6. By agreeing to these Terms of Service and providing us with your mobile phone number when you opt in to the Service, you authorize Nuñez Legal Group, P.C. to contact you by text message at your mobile phone number using an automatic telephone dialing system or device, or any other computer assisted technology as applicable.
